last week was my LQS's 5 yr. anniversary, and of course i had to stop in!

i was "officially" there to ask for donations for our school carnival's raffle. 

not to shop. 

just in case my husband is reading this. 

but i arrive only to find that she had bought some moda bolts from another ks fabric store that closed shop.  how am i supposed to resist sunkissed prints?

it's especially hard to resist when they have all these fat quarters cut and lined up, ready to grab.

i do have plans for most of these fat quarters.  i'm taking a free motion quilting class later this month, and we're making quilted box bags.  and the girly prints will become a baby quilt for my niece who's on the way!  my brother says no to pink, but i think those fabrics are girly without being bubblegum sweet.  i'm still auditioning, though.

i also bought some "recipe for friendship" fabric to back a table runner i started in 2009?!  maybe i could finally post part two of that, lol!

what's new in your stash?  i'm dying for some chicopee, and madrona road.  it's so hard to be good!
