quilt market recap, two

Last post, I mentioned Heather but didn't give you an introduction!

at the MQG meetup
Heather blogs at quilt.cook.keep and has a cool quilt in the new book. She's guest posted here before. She is also the bee mama for Bee Vintage, a vintage sheet sewing bee. She's the president of the Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild (for a little longer), coming soon to Moda Bakeshop and guess what? She's awesome in person too! We shared a room during market, it was great to get to meet her IRL.

Here are a few of my favorite booths. Somehow I didn't snap a pic of Heather Bailey's award winning booth and its amazingly huge paper pieced butterfly - but you've all seen it by now I'm sure.

I love the expression I captured on AMH's face in the video above! Sorry 'bout that Anna. You're adorable no matter what. And I really wanted to steal that quilt on the left.

more AMH goodness.

Amanda Murphy, who was so sweet and fun to talk to. She has a holiday book that is super cute too.

Hey look! That's our book in the United Notions booth! Woot! And I think that's Lisa Calle's Lucky Strike quilt in the bottom right...

And of course, this was my absolute favorite booth of all at market. :)

Thanks for the pics from Market - I've been excited to see people's recaps. And how cool to have been there for the Classic Quilts Schoolhouse! I wish I could have been there. I would have been fun to meet you in person! I hope our paths will cross sometime soon!
